Our framework document sets out a broad framework for how we operate.
Drawn up by the Scottish Government in consultation with the Historic Environment Scotland Board, the framework document defines the responsibilities which underpin our relationship with the Scottish Government.
It includes details on:
- our purpose, strategic aims and objectives
- our relationship with the Scottish Government, and specific responsibilities
- governance and accountability
- auditing and reporting procedures
